This Place is Not a Place of Honour

This is a short game I made in Twine exploring the ideas behind long-term nuclear waste storage. In it, you play as the member of a society that has long forgotten about nuclear waste, but is deeply aware of its danger. Outside your settlement, the concrete forest sits. A forbidden place that beckons that you, until one morning the temptation takes over and you decide to explore it. Will you discover the secret at the heart of the forest? Or will you return back to the safety of your settlement, content to not know the truth?
